Levantine Films

Strategy & Creative Lead, Design & UX Lead, Project Lead

Description

Through collaboration with the client, we identified that the overarching message of Levantine Films, and the most crucial part of their work, is the amplification of the character's voices and stories within the films they produce. Putting the character's voices first and providing a platform for their stories.

The base for this design was to continue the character-first thread we uncovered, using contrast in scale and position to emphasize key points in the character's stories and create moments of empathy for the audience and user.

University of Arizona, School of Theatre, Film, and Television

Stategy & Creative Lead, Design & UX Lead, Project Lead

Description

Working with the head of the university's School of Theatre, Film, and Television, and each department lead, we uncovered the connective tissue between each discipline to be the presence of light over each craft. Or more specifically, the idea that light illuminates each artists work, whether an actor, costume designer, set designer, script writer, director, producer, and so on. It is the light that brings their work to life. This project was paused due to budget restraints. The concept shown here was our first visualization of how we can use 'lighting' and digital interaction to create a sense of spotlight and excitement for the user; prospective students.
